The Maine-based publication released its long-range winter forecast this week, projecting "dramatic swings" and a lot of snow.

The 2025-26 winter Farmer's Almanac forecast suggests residents of the U.S. prepare for patterns of "chill, snow, repeat" during the cold season. However, this may apply less to North Carolina and other states in the Southeast.
