Freakier Friday is a follow-up to the original Freaky Friday, which sees mother Tess (Curtis) and daughter Anna ( Lindsay Lohan) swap bodies, which ultimately helps strengthen their relationship. In its sequel, viewers see another body swap, but this time, it adds a multigenerational twist. Chad Michael Murray also returns in the film.

Jamie Lee Curtis is defending “Freakier Friday.” The Oscar winner, 66, responded to Time magazine’s negative review of her and Lindsay Lohan’s body-swapping sequel.

The Oscar winner scolded Time’s Stephanie Zacharek for being a mean girl in trashing the light sequel starring her and Lindsay Lohan ― who appear together again as the body-swapping mother and daughter from 2003′s “Freaky Friday.”
