The government is dropping Weiss from Medicare and Medicaid after months of failing to meet federal standards. Hospital staff say it could close Friday.

Resilience Healthcare acquired both hospitals out of bankruptcy in 2022. Both facilities depend on Medicare or Medicaid to pay for 70% to 80% of their patients.
