For years, Minecraft players have joked about how someday, highly talented individuals who create redstone contraptions will make the sandbox game inside itself.

On October 22, 2022, Minecraft Redditor u/mattbatwings2 showcased their incredibly elaborate redstone machine in a post on the game's subreddit.

On its blog today, Google talked up Game Builder, its sandbox for desktops that lets you create 3D games without having to write any code - and it's free.
