The MySQL Workbench GUI is cross-platform, open source, and incredibly easy to use.

MySQL Workbench has separate windows that allow you to set up user IDs, assign privileges and even view event logs that track database activity.

If you are using MySQL Workbench on Windows...you need to look at SQLyog.
