Microsoft on Tuesday announced plans to disable the use of the Transport Layer Security 1.0 and TLS 1.1 security protocols in Windows.

Microsoft reminded users that insecure Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.0 and 1.1 protocols will be disabled soon in future Windows releases.

Microsoft has turned on Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.3 in Windows client operating systems by default in its Windows Insider Program preview releases, the company explained on Thursday.
