Microsoft's open-source Visual Studio Code is growing hand in hand with Python.

Microsoft is converting the baked-in Python IntelliSense support in Visual Studio into a standalone product and previewing it in the new update to the VS Code Python extension.

Microsoft's dev team for Python in Visual Studio Code updated its tooling to improve working with the language's interactive Read-Eval-Print Loop functionality.
