In the “Additional Information” window, select .NET 6.0 as the runtime and click Next Click Create. We’ll use this .NET 6 console application project to work with strings in the sections below.

Click Create. This will create a new .NET Core console application project in Visual Studio 2019. We’ll use this project to work with GUIDs in the subsequent sections of this article.
