In an effort to address child safety concerns, digital gaming platform Roblox announced Monday that it is rolling out a major update to its safety features and parental controls.

Monday’s update also gives parents more tools to manage a child’s Roblox activity and comes amid longstanding criticism that predators can contact kids too easily on the platform.

Parents will be able to see how much time is spent on Roblox and set a daily screen time limit that can’t be exceeded.
