Today I thought it might be a good idea to give a short refresher on how to pin stuff to the taskbar -- which might avoid the need for an add-on like Piles to begin with.

All you have to do is hold down the Shift key while dragging a file to an icon on the taskbar, and the tooltip will change to say "Open with" instead of pinning to the taskbar.
