The viewer allows you to choose a services REST endpoint and view it as a data table and a map.
I'm starting to look into ArcGIS REST vector layers in QGIS, and unless I'm doing something wrong, they are extremely slow. When consumed in ArcGIS (and/or ESRI's web viewer), it is much faster.
