With ArduSat, anybody can get some time with a real satellite in space to take pictures or collect other data.

That’s what the folks behind ArduSat are doing: they’re launching an Arduino-laden satellite into orbit with a bunch of sensors to enable anyone to become a citizen space scientist.

The ArduSat Kickstarter project aims to design an Arduino-based satellite that will be rented out by scientists, students, and even hobbyists as they need it.
