With ArduSat, anybody can get some time with a real satellite in space to take pictures or collect other data.

The ArduSat Kickstarter project aims to design an Arduino-based satellite that will be rented out by scientists, students, and even hobbyists as they need it.

The satellite, called SBUDNIC, is powered by an array of 48 Energizer AA batteries and a $20 Arduino Nano BLE.
