OBS Studio 29.0 is now available for download. The final release follows three Betas that have been released ever since November 23. It comes with a long list of features, improvements, and fixes.

OBS Studio version 29 is now available to all and the headline feature is support for AV1 encoding on AMD and Intel Arc GPUs.

In addition, OBS Studio 28 adds support for 10-bit HDR video, as well as support for the new ScreenCaptureKit API for high-performance screen capture on macOS.

OBS Project has released the first beta version of OBS Studio 31, and the release notes contain bad news for customers with older Nvidia graphics cards.
