EA has released the source code for classic strategy games in the Command & Conquer series along with Steam Workshop support, opening the game to modders.

Some source code files for the first Command & Conquer entry, later called Tiberian Dawn, and the original Red Alert have been available since EA released remastered versions of the two games in 2020.

Now, that source code is finally available, giving modders a much better idea of how the originals work heading into the Command & Conquer Remastered release date.
