Java The Java browser plug-in lets Chrome run applets, small programs embedded in a Web page. Java applets enable dynamic Web pages and interactive web programs.

If Java is not working in VS Code, Edge, Chrome on Windows 11, download the latest version, fix the registry and add environment variables to fix the issue.

In Google Chrome type chrome://plugins in the address bar and click the link to disable Java. In Safari, go to Safari > Preferences and uncheck Enable Java on the Security pane.
