The latest Insider build of Windows 11 includes a hidden option to enable tabs within the File Explorer.

Heck, you don’t even have to be running Windows 10. If you’ve got Windows XP, 7, or 8 you can add tabs to Windows Explorer/File Explorer right now via the Clover 3 extension.

So, these are two simple and effective options to add or remove or enable or disable the Security tab from File Explorer in Windows 11/10. Just follow the steps carefully, and you will get the output.

Microsoft is also enabling tabs in Mail, Calendar, OneNote, and MSN News Windows 10 apps, with the ability to have File Explorer running alongside a tabbed version of OneNote or Mail.
