For the past several years, Google Tasks has been restricted to a side panel in Gmail, Drive, and other Workspace sites. Google Calendar on the web is now adding a fullscreen Tasks interface.

Google Calendar on the web now lets users add more information like guest permissions, attachments to event descriptions, custom notifications, and more right from the event creation pop-up.

This tight integration between Assistant, Calendar, and Tasks is the finishing touch Google Calendar’s web UI was lacking in the wake of the transition earlier this year.
