Roblox said it is rolling out voice chat for those who are 13 and older on its user-generated content platform.

Roblox is launching its own take on video chat called Roblox Connect. The feature, which is set to launch later this year, lets you chat with other people as your avatar.

The company is adding avatar-based, 3D video chat to its virtual world in an effort to expand its audience—and to keep the kids around as they grow older.
