Roblox is adding some key social features to help users ages 13 and up connect and find friends on the social gaming platform.

The game company saw over $655 million in quarterly revenue and hit a new all-time high in daily active users (DAU), but losses were sharper than expected.

Roblox shares jumped as the online video game company posted better-than-expected revenue and record numbers of users.

Users also get full access to Roblox Studio as well. Making up Roblox’s smallest user base, the Xbox version is the only console version available for the platform at the current moment.

Roblox Cloud, the final piece, is the infrastructure for both online games and development, enabling users to play and create games without the need for more traditional development tools.

Roblox has adjusted its payment system to allow users to set regional pricing. This automatically adjusts the cost of in-game items to match the local economy of the purchaser.

September metrics released ahead of its results, showed daily active users increasing 19% in September and up 23% year-over-year, but estimated bookings, or the amount spent by those users, fell 10%.
