Horizontal Scrolling Horizontal scrolling is necessary to browse through photos in your Android tablet's gallery, read e-books and switch to different sections of your tablet's home screen.

This is an change from the first Android P developer preview, which had vertical scrolling for its quick settings feature.

Google is rolling out Chrome 67 for Android, delivering new AR and VR APIs and a horizontal tab-switcher which can be accessed instead of the vertically scrolling one.
