By default, Excel will use the first column for the X coordinate and the second for the Y coordinate. To add additional data for the Y axis, you need corresponding data for the X axis as well.

However, Excel lacks commands for creating a third secondary axis. One workaround for this shortcoming is to swap the X and Y axes of several pseudo data series to yield a chart with multiple Y axes.
