Windows 7 Start Button Changer (W7SBC) is a stand-alone and portable application. Unzip it, run the application, and click on "Select & Change Start Button" to swap your icons.

Welcome to the Windows 11 Start Menu Before we change anything, let’s go over the default Windows 11 Start menu. At the top of the menu, a search field lets you search for apps, files, and settings.

Click Select & Change Start Button to browse for a new set of icons – a few are included with the utility. Once selected, the program will backup explorer.exe and swap the icons.

The Windows Start button should be on the left side of the taskbar. We'll show you where to find the setting to move it back.
