On the pop-up on your PC's Snapdrop window, press Save to download the file. It will then be saved to your Downloads folder like any other downloaded files from your browser.

If you wish to make Chrome your default browser on PC, then you first need to click on the Start button, then go to Settings. Click on the Apps icon and then go to Default Apps.
