Mojang has announced that 'Minecraft' - both Java Edition and Bedrock Edition - will join Xbox Game Pass for PC in November.

There are several mods and add-ons for both Minecraft Java and Bedrock Edition (Image via CurseForge) Despite being over a decade old, Minecraft remains one of the most popular games in the world.

One such addition is the Minecraft Java Edition, which is a free game. The Minecraft Java Edition free trial is available on Android, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Windows 10 and Vita.

"Minecraft" offers cross-platform play for both versions of the game — Bedrock and Java — but you can only play with users who own the same version.

To be more specific, the two versions are Java Edition and Bedrock Edition, and they'll both be available via Xbox's Game Pass for PC service from November 2, 2021.

Just search for Minecraft on your Xbox One, or head over to this link. The Bedrock edition should have new cover art so it's easy to spot. The price should be free, so just click on it and install it.
