Unfortunately, there is not currently a silver bullet fix for the issue in Apex Legends. On May 24, Respawn addressed it via Twitter, instructing players to restart their PC to bypass the problems.

There isn't currently a perfect fix for the FS_CheckAsyncRequest crash message in Apex Legends, but some players are finding success with fresh installs, validating files or switching to DX11.
