At first, you will have to open the spreadsheet with Microsoft Excel. In case you want to insert the header and footer before making a spreadsheet, create a black spreadsheet by opening the Excel.

The header for both the row and column on the spreadsheet will hide, showing cells instead. The other option to hide the row and column headers in Excel is to click the File tab.
