Accounts on the Roblox platform are identified by usernames, which are distinct and personalized. When users interact in-game or on the website, others will see their names.

In Roblox, a display name becomes the player's identity in the game. Usually, players tend to get a display name that is catchy and builds up their reputation in a certain community for that game.

Usernames will be then be only used to log into your Roblox account. There are a few advantages of display names. First and foremost, unlike the username, the display name doesn't need to be unique.

To get or change a Roblox Display Name, you should first log in to your Account Info page under Settings, then select the edit button next to the Display Name entry above your Username.
