Learn how to change Boot Menu Timeout between 0 and 999 seconds in Windows 11/10 using Boot Options, MSConfig, System Properties, and CMD.
On Windows 10, you have four different ways to change the boot manager timeout for a dual-boot system, and in this guide, I'll teach you how.
Now, the next time you boot your Windows 10 or Windows 11 PC, you’ll have the option of pressing F8 to reveal the Advanced Boot Options menu, as shown in Figure B.
If you use Safe Mode frequently, you can add Safe Mode to Boot Menu options in Windows 11/10. This will give you a time frame to boot directly into Safe Mode.
The Advanced options menu will give you several options: System Restore, System Image Recovery, Startup Repair, Command Prompt, Startup Settings, and Go back to the previous build.
The better choice is to dual boot both versions of Windows. In this case, you would use a computer that already has Windows 10, then install Windows 11 on its own volume.
