After you install 7-ZIP and launch it, you'll see a file browser where you can navigate to the RAR file. Double-click the RAR file to view its contents without extracting them.

If you install multiple RAR extraction programs, your Windows Explorer context menu will display multiple extraction options when you right-click on a RAR file.
