Here, we show you how to build your very own, customised Linux distribution (distro). For creating our distro, we used Ububtu 7.04 as a base and built over it.

The starting point to making your own Linux distro is, rather ironically, from within an existing Linux distro. This way you have all the tools you need at hand.

The good thing? A custom distro doesn't have to be a fantasy. Linux is based on open-source software and user-contributed content, so setting up your own version isn't all that hard.
