The Genie is out of the bottle for gaming, with GoogleDeepMind's AI model now capable of taking an image and turning it into a platform game.

A 2D platformer not unlike the early Mario games, the title sees players going through the usual motions of collecting coins, leaping bottomless chasms, and bopping enemies on the head.

That's Eron: a short 2D platformer for Windows, Linux and Mac. Eron is the work of David Mulder, a solo developer working with assets from the Unity store.
