First, you can manually copy and paste all the texts from the txt file into the spreadsheet. Second, you can use Microsoft Excel’s built-in option to make it easier.
If you want to preserve the current state of an Excel file and yet be able to change it, you can always copy the current workbook to a new file. You can then add your changes to the new copy.
This method is only appropriate if you want to copy the contents of the sheet to another Excel file.
To copy a sheet into a new workbook file, do the following: Select the sheet you want to copy (or move). Choose Move Or Copy Sheet from the Edit menu.
