Unreal Engine 5 is officially released and ready to power your next-gen game. Epic also released several sample projects, including a new playable shooter called Lyra.

Epic released Unreal Engine 5 at its online event Tuesday, and the software tools are expected to catapult already powerful games on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X even further.
