Click "File," "Open" and browse to your second Excel file. Double-click the file to open it. Repeat the steps for each new file you'd like to open in its own window.

If Excel is not set as the default application to open the Excel file types (.xls, .xlm, .cvs, etc.), the file may open in another application. Press Win+I key combinations to open Windows Settings.
