There's no longer a cost to push apps from Apple's IDE to an iOS device; no developer program membership is needed. Sideloading isn't an Android-only function thanks to Xcode 7.

Apple has warned developers submitting apps to the App Store that they will soon need to use Xcode 14.1 or later for them to be accepted.

Apple has officially released version 4 of Xcode, the integrated development environment designed to help developers write apps for Mac OS X and iOS.
