Whether you want to free up space by removing apps, just hate the apps, or simply want to hide apps and icons from your Home Screen, here's how to remove apps from your iPhone or iPad.
Next, choose Remove from Home Screen, which will send the app to your App Library. Don’t delete it; otherwise, your new shortcut (with the new app icon) won’t work.
App Library is a top-level screen that contains all the apps installed on your iPhone sorted by category. You can remove apps from your home screen (s), but still access them from App Library.
