Notepad saves a file in .txt format. By using Print to PDF and Save As options, you can save it as PDF and HTML in Windows 11/10.

Locate the HTML file you want to save to text. Right-click the HTML file, select "Open With" and then click "Notepad." The file is opened in Notepad.

Notepad is perhaps better known as a code editor than a word processor, but in recent years Microsoft has added more features in the way of formatting and auto-save.
