The video game developer Epic Games decides to make a major change to mouse and keyboard matchmaking in its multiplayer sandbox survival title, Fortnite.

That's just as true in Fortnite, and since the console versions officially support mice a predominantly controller-based segment of players occasionally getting smoked by mouse users.

However, because using a keyboard and mouse makes aim more accurate, console players often opt to play against those on the same platform rather than PC players.

This latest Fortnite Festival update finally lets controller/keyboard and mouse players rock out without the need for a guitar controller.

Epic Games wants things to be fair and plans to keep the mouse and keyboard users from slaughtering unsuspecting gamepad users.

The player base in Fortnite is primarily divided into two groups - those who play on keyboard + mouse and those who rely on controllers.
