WhatsApp is currently testing a new feature that could allow its Web and Desktop users to interact with the Status section on the messaging platform.
In January, WhatsApp introduced a new feature allowing users to add music to their status updates, initially available to select beta testers.
WhatsApp said it has started to roll out the new feature globally, and it will be available in most regions in due time.
WhatsApp now lets users add background music to Status updates, similar to Instagram. You can add 15 seconds for images and 60 seconds for videos, using songs stored locally.
