Ford is recalling 1.9 million vehicles worldwide due to faulty rear-view cameras, the latest in a series of callbacks over the issue, the automaker said today.
Tesla said on Friday it was recalling about 239,000 vehicles over an issue that could cause the rear-view camera to not display an image, but it could be resolved by an over-the-air software update.
The rear view camera may show a blank or distorted image on the center display screen while the vehicle is in reverse.
Ford is recalling almost 1.5 million vehicles in the United States because of an issue with the rear view camera.
