I have not done an asynchronous call before. ... We are on Java 6 and deploy on JBOSS. I have used a little bit of Spring 2.5 and cxf in an earlier (synchronous) project to make WSM client calls.

Proposal would define an API to collect stack traces asynchronously and include information on both Java and native stack frames.
