Technology giant Oracle on September 17 announced the release of Java 23, the latest version of the programming language, coming six months after its previous upgrade.

The Java JDK is necessary for developing and running Java applications. It includes the most commonly used version of Java SE (Standard Edition) Development Kit.

Oracle (ORCL) releases Java 22, the latest version of the programming language and development platform.
