To make tipped arrows in Minecraft, players will need at least eight regular arrows per recipe. On top of this, each tipped arrow recipe will require a potion bottle.

Tipped arrows are, essentially, potions in arrow form. When you shoot a tipped arrow and it makes contact with an enemy, the effect of the potion at hand will be applied to the enemy.
