Tesla is no longer including key fobs as standard on the Tesla Model S and X. The cost-cutting move came into effect on July 1.

Apparently, Tesla dropped the key fob “to eliminate the e-waste.” The buyers of the Tesla Model S and Model X would still be able to have a key fob for their cars, should they choose so.

A woman recently went viral after posting a video where she's wiping an access card across a Tesla Model 3 trying to get it to work. She's not alone.

By implanting Tesla key card chips under their skin, biohackers are opening and even starting their Teslas with their bodies.

The Belgian researchers reported the security issues to Tesla in August 2020 and the company is now rolling over-the-air firmware update to address the issues affecting the SUV's key fob.
