Atom, the text editor developed by GitHub Atom and built on the Electron framework, has been upgraded with improvements centered on GitHub packaging as well as Python and HTML language capabilities.

Launched in 2011, Atom is a free and open-source text and source code editor for software developers working on a range of operating systems.
