米Metaは7月12日（現地時間）、米Robloxのゲーム作成・共有プラットフォーム「Roblox」（ロブロックス）が「Meta Quest」に間もなく登場すると発表した。

PlayStationに対応することでRobloxは世界中でさらなるユーザーの増加が見込まれます。 またMeta Questプラットフォームに正式対応することで、Quest公式ストアではアプリがより発見しやすくなり、より没入感のある体験をするユーザーも増えることが期待されます。

Meta Questシリーズは2022年10月、これまでに約2,000万台が販売されたことが報じられました。 今回の発表を鑑みると、ユーザーの約20人に1人がQuest版「Roblox」をダウンロードした計算になります。 現在のQuest版「Roblox」はβ版の段階です。

ちなみに、Robloxですが、ユーザーがゲームを作成しプレイ可能というプラットフォームです。 PCやスマホで遊ぶことが可能で、2023年7月にはMeta Quest版が登場（現在はβ版）。 Quest Proのほか、Quest 2でも遊べますよ。
