Ten years after it launched, San Mateo’s Roblox, a virtual world environment that plays host to millions of games for kids, has finally started to catch on in a big way.

Roblox has made $1 billion on mobile since it launched for Android and iOS in early 2016, according to market analyst Sensor Tower.
