Roblox is introducing a new voice chat feature called “Spatial Voice,” starting with an invitation-only beta for select developers, the gaming platform announced on Thursday.

Well, as you've probably surmised by this point, Roblox now has voice chat which was just released out of beta -- "Spatial voice chat," to be specific.

Roblox is set to introduce a new voice chat feature called “Spatial Voice,” made available to a limited group of developers through an invite-only beta.

Spatial voice doesn't stop there; the creators also want you to be able to chat to friends in a Roblox experience, as well as those who may not even be online at all.

The company is inviting an initial group of 5,000 developers, all 13 and older, to try out the new spatial voice chat capabilities in a custom-built Roblox community space.
