The Tennessee parents of Summer Wells, the 5-year-old girl who went missing from her family’s rural home just over two weeks ago, each have criminal records in other states, court documents show.

Summer Wells was last seen at her parents' house in the northeast Tennessee town of Rogersville on June 15, 2021.

Summer Moon-Utah Wells was reportedly last seen Tuesday, June 15 walking near her home on Ben Hill Road in the Beech Creek community, wearing a pink shirt and gray shorts.

She was five years old at the time. Summer’s family, including parents Don Wells and Candus Bly, reported last seeing the girl around 6:30 p.m. that evening at her Rogersville home.
